Robert Carroll Nugent, age 79 of College Grove, TN passed away May 31, 2018. Served his country as a Sea Going U.S. Marine Corp. He was a beloved husband and father. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Rose Nugent; brothers Macky and Jimmy Nugent. Survived by: wife, Gerda Nugent; sons, Mark Edward Nugent and Matthew Anthony Nugent; sisters, Lucille Price and Rosemary Thibodaux. Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM Monday, June 4, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. Philip Catholic Church, 113 2nd Ave. S. Franklin, TN. Father Bala celebrant. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Philip Catholic Church.
