He was also a member of the Franklin Rotary Club and the Battlefield Region Antique and Classic Car Club and a Shriner. Preceded by wife of 44 years, Sally G Poe.Survived by wife, Darlene L. Poe; brother, Myron Poe; sisters, Janet Christenson and Linda Grury; children, Debra Joyce (Sam) Edwards, Shearer Spears, Bob (Julie) Poe, Mike Tisdale, James (Annette) Poe and Cooper (Nydia) Tisdale; grandchildren, Dylan Spears, Becky Sellars, Samantha Granstaff, Sara Rose, Kellie Davenport, Kristen Monterrosa, and Capt. Robert K Poe; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heritage Foundation, 510 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064. Funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, November 6, in the Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church with Dr. Sally Hughes, Rev. David Hesson & Rev. Danny Sellars.
