SCHULTE, Mr. Robert L, age 90 was born to the late Charles K. and Anne Margaret Schulte at home in Rogers Park, IL. He passed away on October 7, 2012 at his home in Brentwood, TN. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne Kiley and his eldest son, Robert Jr. as well as his brothers and sisters, Charles, Jack, Bill, Jeanne, Margaret and Betty. He graduated from St. George High School and attended DePaul University. In 1942, during WWII he joined the Navy and became a Naval Aviator serving in the Asia/Pacific area with Air Group 19, flying off the USS Hornet CV. After the war he returned to Chicago where he served as president of Charles K. Schulte & Co., General Partner with Lamson Bros. & Co. and CEO of Ramma Trading Corp. He was an early member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and in 1964, made the first cattle trade from its floor. In 1994 he relocated to Carefree, AZ where he and Elizabeth Gardner Sentman were married. They resided there until 2010 when they relocated to Brentwood, TN. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth and children, Matthew (Karen) Schulte, Florida, Mary Ann (Joe) Fasano, California, James (Rebecca) Sentman, Georgia & Kristin (Bryan) Clark, Tennessee; grandchildren, Robert and Shannon Schulte, Kiley and Maggie Fasano, Jessica and Ben Sentman, Devin and Collin Clark.
