Robert Johnson

Mr. Robert Thomas Johnson, age 84 of the Peytonsville Community went to be with the Lord March 15, 2016. Retired from Nashville Electric Service with 56 year of service. He loved watching ballgames and was a devoted Atlanta Braves fan. He loved farming and was dedicated to his family building their homes. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Willie Dean Garner Johnson; son, Robert Thomas "Tommy" Johnson, Jr.; parents, Edd and Nancy Poteete Johnson and brother, Happy Dan Johnson. Survived by: daughters, Debbie Chunn & Pam (Tony) Davis; son, Stoney Dean Johnson; brother, Joe (Mae) Johnson; sisters, Elizabeth Garner & Odell Andrews; grandchildren, Deana Chunn, Larry "Pig" (Cheryl) Chunn, Matt (Beth) Davis, Shayna (Kyle) Thompson, Kendall (James) Newsom, Jessica (Ross) Johnson & Chelsea (Zech) Crafton; great grandchildren, Brayden & Treble Chunn, Kalijah & Kinsey Thompson, Stetson Crafton & Stone Newsom and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Bobby Bennett officiating. Interment Bennett Hollow Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Larry Johnson, Joe Whidby, C.W. Buttrey, Stacey Garner, Bob Garner, Jr., Steve Garner, Copper Bennett, Ronnie Harper, David Davis & Ricky Smithson. Honorary pallbearers will be Nashville Electric Service Employees.
