Mr. Ronald David "Capt. Ron" Laurie, age 81 of Nashville, TN. Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Retired police officer with the Chicago Police Department. Survived by: Companion, Betty Rice; sons, Brian (Paula) Ek, Christopher (Lindsay) Ek, Rick (Joann) Laurie & Andy Henkin; brother, Michael Laurie; grandchildren, Madison, Mia & Samantha Ek, Ashley & Matthew Laurie. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, February 6, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Father Tran officiating.
