Mrs. Ruby Tomlin Poteete, age 94 of Franklin, TN, April 21, 2014. Preceded in death by husband, J.W. Poteete; daughter, Betty Hughes, grandchildren, James "Butch" King, Jerry & Beverly King; parents, Doss and Lera Mai Deason Tomlin; sisters, Katherine & Mildred Tomlin & Lois Givens. Survived by: son, Leon Poteete of Franklin, TN; granddaughter, Christy Poteete of Franklin, TN; great grandchildren, James King III of Mississippi; brothers, John Lee Tomlin & Oakley Tomlin both of Harpeth Community; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jayne Hornburger officiating. Burial will follow in Poteete Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Poteete Cemetery Fund.
