Sam Smithson, Jr.

SMITHSON, Jr. Sam Cliff, age 56 of the Bethesda Community died April 27, 2014 at his home. Born in Williamson County to the late Sam & Fronnie Culberson Smithson, Sr. Member of New Life Baptist Church of Columbia. He loved spending time with his grandson and family. He loved watching old westerns and most of all he loved his Lord. Survived by wife, Jo Ann Baker Smithson of the Bethesda Community; daughter, Amber Smithson of Nashville, TN and grandson, Jayden Pruitt of Nashville, TN. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Chad Roland officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Gerry Smithson, Billy Buford, Bob Smithson, Danny & Harold Martin and Harvey Smithson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Scarbrough, Billy Smithson, Warren Miller, Ray Smithson and Montae Knight.
