TUMBLESON, Savannah Jo, age 8 of Thompson�s Station, TN, passed away July 12 after a brief illness. Savannah touched many lives including her classmates of Bethesda Elementary, Girl Scout Troop #2854, her many soccer teammates, coaches, neighbors, friends and family members. Preceded in death by grandparents, Gene & Janet Tumbleson and William H. Almstead, Sr. Survived by parents, Jeff & Traci Tumbleson and sister Kylie of Thompson�s Station, TN; grandparents, Patricia & Richard Walsh of Spring Hill, TN; uncles, Bill Almstead of Centerville, OH, Todd (Mindy) Tumbleson of Leawood, KS & Scott Tumbleson of Orrick, MO; cousins, Connor, Ben & Lindsay Tumbleson and Jacob & Madison Tumbleson; beloved dogs, Sami & Harley. Celebration of Life will be held 4:00PM Thursday at Thompson�s Station Church, Pastor Steve Witt officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be incoming 3rd graders at Bethesda Elementary, soccer teammates and members of her Girl Scout Troop. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the incredible care and compassion Savannah received from the many doctors, nurses and staff at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Memorials may be made to the Kylie Tumbleson Educational Fund c/o any Fifth Third bank.
