Serepta Sadd

Mrs. Serepta Lee Sadd, age 80 of Franklin, TN, April 14, 2015. Member of St. Philip Catholic Church. Graduated from Morris Harvey College. She started her teaching career in West Virginia, Mentor, OH, Kettering, OH and Corning, NY. She was a second grade teacher, then went on to teach art in middle school. She retired in 1990 from Corning, NY and later moved to Franklin to be with family. She was an avid collector of antique furniture and baskets. Survived by husband of 56 years, George Sadd of Franklin, TN; son, Michael (Andrea) Sadd of Spring Hill, TN; sister, Warden Kastner of Madison, MS; grandson, Justin Sadd and great-grandson, Jaxson Sadd. Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM Monday, April 20, 2015 with visitation one hour prior at St. Philip Catholic (Historic) Church, Father Bala celebrant. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Charleston, WV. WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615-794-2289.
