Sherry Pride

Sherry Gail Pride, age 64 of College Grove, TN passed away July 20, 2019. Member and pianist at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, she so enjoyed her music. Sherry had a passion and love for horses which she considered her babies. Her love of horses was also witnessed in her work for CTDA and the way she poured herself into their horse shows. Preceded in death by parents, Jim and Louise English Weir. Survived by: husband of 31 years, David A. Pride of College Grove, TN; brother, Jim C., Jr. (Nancy) Weir of Hattiesburg, MS; brother in law, Patrick E. Pride of Franklin, TN; nieces and nephews, Christie Weir, Marcie (Michael) Kretchmar, Abigail Weir, Katherine Weir, William Pride, Lea (Sam) Thompson and other loving family members. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Mary Kate Myers will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either of the following charities: 1. The Dressage Foundation's Evie Tumlin Fund Region 9 Adult Amateurs, in Sherry's memory (dressagefoundation.org/support) or 2.
