Shirley Sewell

Mrs. Shirley Cleland Sewell, age 94 of Franklin TN passed away at her home on January 2, 2016. She was a well- known local organist. Preceded in death by husband, James Mathew (J.M.) Sewell and son James (Jimmy) Lynn Sewell. Survived by daughter, Zell (Bill) Browne; grandchildren, Holly (Mitch) Dawson, Jan (Ted) Morrissey, Ben (Brittney) Browne, Michael Sewell, David Sewell, Matthew (Lena) Sewell, Audrey Dinwiddie Sanders, Robert Dinwiddie and numerous great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carol Dinwiddie Sewell; brother, Bill (Jean) Cleland and sister, Charlotte (Bill) Bethmann. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Franklin First United Methodist Church Historic Sanctuary with visitation two hours prior to the service at the church. Dr. Lynn Hill and Rev. Roger Parker officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Franklin First United Methodist Church.
