Tamae Willhite

August 2, 1932 — October 3, 2014

WILLHITE, Ms. Tamae Kimura, age 82 of Franklin, TN, passed away October 3, 2014. Born in Tokyo, Japan, and moved to America in the early 1950's. She became a permanent resident of Hopkinsville, KY in 1972. She remained there until three years ago, then moved to Franklin, TN. Loving mother, grandmother and sister to her family, she was known for being everyone's hero. Survived by: sons, Leo Willhite & Leon Willhite/Kevin Brady; daughters, Mariann (Jim) Camp, Tariann (Jeff) Putty, & Joann Willhite; brother, Susumu Kimura; sister, Ayako Morita; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-7PM Monday, October 6, 2014, at Edgewood Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY. A Celebration of Life gathering will be 2-6PM Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the home of her son, Leon Willhite.
