Mrs. Thelma Ruth Cartwright, age 82 of Franklin, TN, May 15, 2015. Graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1952. Retired from State of TN Department of Commerce & Insurance Regulatory Boards. She was an administrator with the auctioneer commission and lifetime member of the National Auctioneer Association. Preceded in death by parents, James Paschal & Vera Rivers Pulley; husband, James "Jim" W. Cartwright; brothers, James Paschal Pulley, Jr. & Leslie Pulley; sisters, Dorothy Scruggs & Evelyn Pitt. Survived by son, James "Jimmy" W. Cartwright, Jr.; brother, Russell (Jean) Pulley; sisters, Clara Pulley, Margaret Ann (Dorris "Putt") Smithson, Mary Alice (Roy) Trice & Linda Hargrove; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00PM Monday, May 18, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: David, Chad & Brad Watkins, Bubba Hargrove, Rusty Pulley, Carl Scott and Dudley Stovall, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Dorris "Putt" Smithson & Roy Trice. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
