Thelma Reed

Mrs. Thelma Bennett Reed, age 82 of the Bethesda Community passed away October 20, 2014 in Columbia, TN. She attended Peytonsville Baptist Church and was a former employee of WalMart. She is preceded in death by her son, John "Bubba" Bennett; brothers, Sonny & Welvon Ivey and parents, Robert & Valeria Ray Ivey. Survived by son, Lonnie (Joyce) Bennett of the Berlin Community; daughters, Linda (Roy) Poteete of Spring Hill, TN and Regina (Arnie) Ryan of Chapel Hill, TN; sisters, Christine (Johnny) Bennett of the Peytonsville, TN and Margie Smither of Texas; thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Wednesday, October 20, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Gerald Yerkes officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons and Great-Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Ross Giles will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
