Thomas King III

Thomas Addison King, III, passed away on January 18, 2016 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A native of Winston-Salem, he was the son of the late Thomas Addison King, Jr. and Betty Jean King.
Tommy attended Ashbrook High School in his hometown of Gastonia. He was a member of the Nashville-Franklin Elks Lodge #72 in Franklin, TN. He loved music, farm life, dogs and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his sisters, Cynthia Jean King, Elizabeth Parker King, Amy King Higginbotham and husband, Haines "Hink"; nieces, Alex Elkins and Meredith Higginbotham, nephews, Carter Higginbotham and Addison Higginbotham; grand niece, Rhylee Bridges; aunt, Sandra Dodgens; cousin, Kendall Philabaum; special friends, Ansley Tillman, John and Jodi Druckenmiller, Leila Smith Thomason, Charlie Fox family, Eric Trimnal and Kevin Farr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother in law, Jerry Adams.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia from 2:00-4:00 PM.
