Tommy Wayne Reed, age 66 of Franklin, TN passed away August 31, 2018. He worked for Dixie Land Tree Surgery for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin Floyd Sr. and Daisy Pauline Holt Reed; brothers, Paul and Walter Reed. Survived by: wife of 41 years, Betty Reed of Franklin, TN; sons, Ted (Dana) Traffanstedt of Spring Hill, TN and Benjy Reed of Franklin, TN; daughters, Elayne (Jimmy) Welck of Columbia, TN and Keri Reed of Franklin, TN; brothers, Benny (Peggy) Reed of Franklin, TN and Dallas Reed of Franklin, TN; sisters, Judy (Hugh) Dodd of Fairview, TN and Pam (Ray) Campbell of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Wyatt & Garrett Traffanstedt, Lacey & Lexi Reed and Clara & MaryAnna Welck. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, September 2, 2018, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Hurt Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Zach McCrory, Timothy Campbell, Matthew Campbell, J.D. Myers, Ronnie Reed and Walter Reed. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Wise, Kenneth Edwards and Donald Mosley.
