Topsy Newcome

Topsy Eugene Newcome, age 88 of Bon Aqua, TN passed away January 5, 2019. Retired Senior Chief Petty Officer with the U.S.Navy during the Korean Conflict. After retirement, he moved home to Franklin, TN where he was a member of the Civitan Club. He was founder of the Lost Arrow Archery Club. Preceded in death by parents, Topsy Hunter and Jessie Lee Underwood Newcome and brother, Dorris Newcome. Survived by: wife of 67 years, Dorothy Jean Vaughn Newcome; sons, Steve (Dorthey) Newcome, David (Jan) Newcome, John (Jane) Newcome and Tommy (Christy) Newcome and daughter, Teresa (Marc) Jones; fifteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor James Parham officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Hayden Newcome, Steve Newcome, Jr., Mike Newcome, Cody Galavin, Jesse Newcome, Jacob Newcome and Josh Newcome. Honorary pallbearers will be German Newcome, Harold French and Phil Puhl. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, Bon Aqua, TN.
