JOHNSON, Mrs. Vanessa Darlene Black, age 56 of Franklin, TN, March 12, 2014. Graduate of Franklin High School. She was a member and President of the Usher Board at Liberty Temple Trinity Church. She loved to sew and draw. She was a devoted wife and grandmother, fondly known by her grandchildren as "Mema". Preceded in death by parents, Robert Dixon & Ethel Charlotte Black. Survived by husband, Bobby Johnson; son, BeCorrius "Cory" Johnson; daughter, LaPrecia Cotton; brother, Kenneth Black; sisters, Anita Pope, Nicolette Hardeman, Charlotte Gould & Sandra Cameron; six grandchildren; one step-son; four step-daughters; five nephews; four nieces; four great nephews & four great nieces. Celebration of Life service will be held 12:00 Noon Monday, March 17, 2014 with visitation two hours prior to the service at Lynn Creek Tabernacle, 117 Fairground St. Franklin, TN, Pastor Roosevelt P. Conway, Jr., Elder Marvin Johnson, Evangelist Crosby & Elder Childress. Entombment, Williamson Memorial Gardens - Remembrance Mausoleum. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers.
