CROCKETT, Mr. Vernon Lee, age 80 of Franklin, TN, March 23, 2013. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Retired from Ingram Materials. Graduate of Virginia Military Institute. Member of the National Society of Professional Engineers. Preceded in death by parents, Samuel Crockett, Jr. & Ethel Stillwell. Survived by wife of 57 ½ years, Nancy Bailey Crockett; daughters, Cindy Crockett & Sharon (Ron) Simone; brother, Stewart (Jeanette) Long; sisters, Jan Crockett & Sharon (Joe) Richardson; grandchildren, Chris Crockett, Jonathan & Stacy Dementry; great grandchild, Cameron Crockett. Memorial services will be conducted 7:00PM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Stewart Long, Chris Crockett, Jonathan Dementry, Stacy Dementry and friends. Interment will be conducted in Virginia at a later date.
