Vester Turman

TURMAN, Mr. Vester B., age 82 of Primm Springs, TN, December 20, 2010. Retired Distribution Manager with United Methodist Board of Discipleship with over 37 years of service. Former fiddle player for many years with the Pinewood Ramblers Bluegrass Band where they played for several benefits through out the area. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & friend to all. Preceded in death by parents, Elton F. & Annie Bradford Turman; brother, Lester Turman; sister, Hester Warren. Survived by: wife of 59 years, Gerlene Sullivan Turman; daughters, Bonita Turman Smith & Diane Turman all of Pinewood Community; grandchildren, Corbin & Tori Smith and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers, Ronald, Donald, Larry, Joey & Tracy Turman, George, Stephen & David Smith, Robert & Phillip Meadows. Honorary pallbearers, Pinewood Ramblers Band Members.
