Vicki Lowe

December 1, 1951 — October 7, 2015

Mrs. Vicki Aldridge Lowe, age 63, of Spring Hill, TN, passed away October 7, 2015. A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, Vicki taught kindergarten and 1st grade for 17 years in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma, she transitioned from teaching to real estate. Upon moving to Tennessee ten years ago, she continued as a realtor with Bob Parks Realty. Her gift and love for teaching continued outside of the classroom as she, along with Ray, served in several ministry positions in churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. Vicki and Ray were currently members of Southview Church in Spring Hill, TN, and were serving as Community Board members for Mercy Multiplied (formerly Mercy Ministries) in Nashville, TN. Vicki had a very strong faith and a love for people. Everyone she encountered experienced this. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Vicki is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Connell Aldridge. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, Ray Lowe of Spring Hill, TN; daughter, Melody Lowe of Franklin, TN, and son, Matt (Jenny) Lowe of Irvine, CA; father, Walter Aldridge of Heber Springs, AR; sisters, Marilyn (Roger) Pettit of Heber Springs, AR and Luanne (Whit) Birdsong of Searcy, AR; several nieces and nephews in Arkansas, New York, and Texas. Services will be conducted at 11:00AM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Another service will be held in her hometown of Heber Springs, AR, at Olmstead Funeral Home on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00PM, Millard Huett and JR Debusk officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Wes Birdsong, Paul Price, Jason Merrick, Stephen Pettit, Marc Pettit and Roger Pettit. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Multiplied (formerly Mercy Ministries).
