FREEMAN, Mrs. Violet Ruth, age 66 of Franklin, TN, passed away August 7, 2013. Preceded in death by parents, Joe & Lillan Wright Staten and many loving brothers and sisters. Survived by: husband, David Freeman; sons, Jeff Freeman, Lucien Freeman & William "D.J." Freeman; daughters, Kathy Freeman (William) Witt, Genny Freeman Spann, Annette (Danny) Reed, Dawn (Dean) Ramey, Pam (Don) Zelaya, Christina Freeman & Candy Freeman; brothers, Bobby (Emily) Staten, Jimmy (Melba) Staten & John (Cindy) Staten; sister, Patsy (Ronnie) Baker; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Gerald Prior officiating. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
