Virginia Fontanella, age 66 of Nashville, TN passed away January 11, 2019. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 27, 1952. Virginia was a school teacher in her early career, but then became a stay at home mom. She was a CASA Volunteer in Williamson County and worked for the Williamson County DUI Court. Preceded in death by her husband, Victor Fontanella and her mother, Joyce Palumbo Survived by sons, Brian (Ali) Fontanella and Daniel Fontanella; father, Gennaro (Sandy) Palumbo; brother, Norman (Joanne) Palumbo; sisters, Felicia Palumbo and Mary Ellen Palumbo; her beloved greyhound, Hester. A memorial gathering will be held 5-8PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
