Virginia Martin

Virginia Lawrence Martin, age 93 of Nashville, TN passed away on February 8, 2017. Virginia was a kind and giving person. A positive influence who never said anything negative about anybody. She was a graduate of Spring Hill High School. She worked at the U.S. Diner restaurant, the State Department of Education and retired when she was 73 years old. Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Martin; parents, Charles Lawrence and Minnie Tomlinson Lawrence; sister, Josephine Inman; brothers, Nathan, Hershel "Pat", Charles "Woody", and John "Red" Lawrence. She leaves behind her children, Freddie Martin (Ann Lay) and Robert Martin; grandchildren, Freddie Martin Jr. (Susan) and Jennifer Martin; great grandchild, Malynn Martin. A special thanks to the caregivers at Bethany Health and Rehab Center. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park on the north side at 2:00PM on Friday, February 10, 2017, Ward Jones officiating.
