Virginia McKee

Virginia McKee, age 91 of Franklin, TN, passed away December 25, 2014. She was a member of West Main Church of Christ. After losing her husband at an early age she lovingly raised three children as a single mother. In her 40's she became a Registered Nurse and retired after 25 years from Williamson Medical Center. After retirement she became an herbalist and an avid gardener. Preceded in death by husband, James "Rat" McKee; brothers, James J. Crouch Jr. and Billy T. Crouch. Survived by son, James "Skeeter" (Charlotte) McKee Jr.; daughters, Emily Kleinschmidt and Susan Hayes; brother, David Crouch; grandchildren, James and Maria Hayes, Amanda Puckett, Virginia (Ryan) Sweeney, James (Sitti) Kleinschmidt and Katharine (John) Vandenberg; seven great grandchildren. Services will be held 3:00PM Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Burial Mt. Hope Cemetery, family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the J.L. Clay Senior Citizens Center or the Williamson Medical Center Building Fund.
