Virginia Gertrude Poteete, age 88 of the Peytonsville Community, Franklin, TN passed away December 16, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Sam and Alta Garret Lovins Crawford; husband, Richard Blythe Poteete; son, Ricky Poteete; sisters, Lucille Jackson, Fannie Veach; brother, James Crawford.
Survived by sons, John R. (Pam) Poteete, John Stephens; brother, Jess Crawford. Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment Poteete Cemetery. Nieces and nephews will be pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
