Walter Michael Duricy

Walter Michael Duricy, age 92, of Franklin, Tennessee,passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was born in Warren, Ohio. He served in Korea in the Army as an MP where he won many sports and fitness awards. He went to Bowling Green University for his BS degree where he ran cross county and he received his Masters Degree from Ohio University. He taught math and science for over 30 years and was head coach for four high school sports. He was married for 62 years and was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Duricy. Walter is survived by his four children, Michael Duricy, Patrick Duricy, Laurel Haskamp(Ron), and Glorian Powers (Tom); grandchildren, Madeline Ramirez (Julian), Caroline Haskamp, Brian Duricy, and Anna Duricy. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man of great faith and a devout Catholic who was loved by all. Private burial was held in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tn.
