Walter Kubin

Mr. Walter Lon Kubin, age 89 of Brentwood, TN passed away September 2, 2015. Walter was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired in 1990 from RR Donnelley & Sons in Chicago after 43 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 88 in Donelson. He had many hobbies including woodworking, reading, playing guitar, singing, fishing and boating. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Zumpf Kubin; siblings, Mary Rehling, Louis, John and Albert Kubin; son-in-law, Robert Fischer Jr. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathleen Kubin; son, Brad (Rachel) Kubin; daughters, Kim (Tim) Spencer, Beverly (Mike) Smith, Terri (Jerry) Warning, Karen (George) Howe and Tami (Mike) Mitchell; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
