THOMAS, Jr., Mr. Wendell Casburn "Tom", age 86 of Franklin, TN formerly of Viera, Florida, died February 15, 2014 at his residence. Retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant. He also retired from Kennedy Space Center. He was a licensed pilot and member of the American Legion. Survived by: wife, Thelma "Terry" Thomas; sons, George (Cathy) Thomas & Tommy (Irene) Thomas; daughters, Robin Thomas (James) Johnson & Sandy Thomas Torrez; step-daughter, Mary (Bill) DePietro; step-sons, Ralph (Sue) Pollock & Mike (Linda) Gaffey; grandchildren Cheryl Thomas, Jaime and Jared Johnson, Emma and Aarron Torrez, Amelia and Gabrielle DePietro, Angela Wood, Joshua Johnson, Angelina and Joshua Gaffey & great grandchildren Olivia Pollock, Michael Wood III and Madelyn Wood; sister, Dottie Merrill. Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted 11:00 Am Saturday, February 22, 2014, Ward Jones officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
