William Chriesman

February 9, 1920 — March 15, 2015

Mr. William Howard Chriesman, age 95 passed away at the Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, TN on March 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, MP Cotton Chriesman and father, William Chriesman. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a long time employee of Alcoa. He was the oldest member of the Smoky Mountain Hiking Club. Mr. Chriesman was born in Columbia, TN, but lived his adult life in Knoxville. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jason Black officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Danny Cotton, George Frost, Robert Potts, Roger Cotton, Tommy Cotton and Jerry Hatcher.
