HOFFMAN, Mr. William E. Jr. "Bill", age 54 of Brentwood, TN, died suddenly October 23, 2009. Senior Vice President-Government Programs for LifePoint Hospitals. Graduate of Father Ryan in 1973 & The University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1977. Certified Public Accountant. Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); Member of the Government Relations Council of the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA); Member of the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) Board of Governors and served on several FAH committees, including: Health Financing Committee, Legislative Committee, Rural Hospitals Committee, and Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) Task Force; American Hospital Association (AHA) Health Systems Government Relations Officers' Network (GRON). Survived by: high school sweetheart & wife of 30 years, Sherrie Brandes Hoffman, Brentwood, TN; daughters, Lauren Hoffman (Nicholas) Marasa, Columbia, SC; Lindsey & Rachel Hoffman of Brentwood, TN; parents, William E. & Pattie Ann Hoffman, Bradenton, FL; brother, Patrick Hoffman, Bradenton, FL; sister, Margaret Ann (Gerry) Skene, Macon, GA; mother-in-law, Lucy Hagedorn, Phoenix, AZ. Funeral Mass will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Father Edward Alberts celebrant. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation at Holy Family Catholic Church Tuesday 4-7:30 PM with a Vigil Service following and 11-12 on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
