William Ostell "W.O" Johnson, age 97 of Bethesda, TN passed away February 21, 2016. Retired from the State of Alaska and WWII Veteran of the U.S. Marines. Deacon Emeritus of Triune Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, James & Lola Raspberry Johnson. Survived by wife of 69 years, Eleanor Crafton Johnson; sons, Alan (Darlene) Johnson, Barry (Lisa) Johnson, Rory (Cindy Renner) Johnson & Mark (Kimberly) Johnson; granddaughters, Tara (Alvin Pitts) Johnson, Stephannie (Randy) Montgomery, Emily Taylor & Olivia (Judson) Smith; ten great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews that he adored; dearest friends and travel companions, Dr. Carl & Bonnie Duck and the Triune Baptist Church Family. A visitation will be held 2-4PM Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Triune Baptist Church, 8094 Horton Hwy. Arrington, TN 37014 with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 4:00PM. Bro. Reed Buntin & Dr. Carl Duck officiating. Family & friends will gather 11:00AM Monday, February 29th at Woodlawn Memorial Park for a graveside service with military honors. The men of the Seekers Sunday School Class will serve as pallbearers. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Triune Baptist Church Building Fund.
