LILLARD, Mr. William Leon "Red", age 81 of Franklin, TN, July 2, 2010. Charter member of the Franklin Optimist Club. Avid coach for youth sports. He coached generations in baseball where he took teams to World Series finals. Preceded in death by wife, Ruby Smithson Lillard; parents, Davis & Ethel Lillard; brother, Milton Lillard. Survived by: sons, Kenny Lillard, Mike (Debbie) Lillard & Bill (Terri) Lillard; brothers, Walter (Eunice) Lillard & Marvin (Billie Jean) Lillard; sister in law, Geneva Lillard; grandchildren, Jon Lillard, Emily Lillard (Kevin) Monroe, Kristi Lillard (Jason) Thompson, Will Lillard, Jennifer Wells & Jessica Childress; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Andy, Jake, Gavin & Grayson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, July 5, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Allen Broughton, Doyle Hurst & Dudley Stovall officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ed Moody & members of Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
