William Jasper "Bill" McCain, age 86 of Franklin, TN went to be with the Lord, December 7, 2016. Member of First United Methodist Church. Retired from the wholesale clothing industry. Preceded in death by parents, James B. "Jim" and Mamie Putnam McCain. Survived by: wife of 65 years, Evelyn E. McCain; son, David McCain; daughter, Jenny (Jim) Cross; grandchildren, Madeline (Gardner) Heaner and Will Cross; sister, Laverne (Austin) Hammond and brother, Clyde (Shirley) McCain. Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Memorials may be made to Graceworks. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to his caregivers at Somerfield Health Center and Guardian Hospice.
