Mr. William Louis Nichols, age 71 of Columbia, TN, August 11, 2014. Graduate of Franklin High School. Retired after thirty years of service with the UT Experimental Station. Preceded in death by parents, Pat and Emma Sullivan Nichols; brothers, Malcolm and Wayne Nichols. Survived by: wife, Anne Nichols; sons, Tracy (Embry) Nichols and Michael Nichols; brothers, Jimmy (Dianne) Nichols and Earl (Maxine) Nichols; sister, Lil Polk; grandchildren, Jonathan (Jackie) Nichols, Morgan Nichols and Will Nichols; great grandchildren, Jeremiah Nichols and Nevaeh Myers and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church with visitation one hour prior to the service, Terry Peery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
