OLANDER, Mr. William "Bill" Charles, age 76 of Franklin, TN, October 3, 2013. He was a research scientist that developed several patents such as the catalytic converter and a stint for an artificial heart valve. He was an avid sailor and fisherman. Survived by wife of 56 years, Margie Olander; sons, Douglas D. (Lisa) Olander & James W. (Claudia) Fontenot; grandchildren, Kristin Montenegro, Tucker Olander, Maximum & Tank Olander.
