William Ret.

William "Bill" Lehenbauer, SGT Ret. age 81 of Franklin, TN passed away December 22, 2015 at his home. A retired Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 4893 Franklin, TN where he was very involved. He served as an officer for the VFW for several years and was Commander twice. He was an extremely patriotic gentleman and loving husband, father and grandfather. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Eva Shelby Lehenbauer; brother, Robert Lehenbauer. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Jean Lee Lehenbauer; children, William "Billy" Lehenbauer, Jr.; Donna (Allen) Cole; sister, Sheila (Floyd) Hall; grandchildren, Ashley & Miranda Lehenbauer, Rebecca Cox, Amanda (Jonathan) Sweeney, Allen "Rocky" (Jeri) Cole and ten great grandchildren. Services will be held 11:00AM Monday, December 28, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service. Burial at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. An honorable mention to long-time family friends, Bill and JoAnn Dawson.
