STOKES, Mr. William Michael, age 67 of Franklin, TN, March 13, 2014. Veteran of the U.S. Army and retired U.S. Postmaster. Preceded in death by parents, Will L. & Madge V. McIntosh Stokes. Survived by wife of 5 years, Mindy Stokes; son, Michael Shane (Joy) Stokes; daughter, Diana Michelle (Darin) Van Tassell; brothers, Blaine (Esther) Stokes & John (Virginia) Stokes; five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 223 Rosa L. Parks Ave. Suite 301, Nashville, TN 37203.
