William Ward

Mr. William "Bill" C. Ward, age 72 of Brentwood, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at his home. Bill was a loving husband and father. He was the kind of person who would always be there for his family and friends. Anyone who ever spoke with him could say that he had a quick wit and a vast wealth of knowledge which he was always willing to share. Bill was a University of Tennessee alumni and avid football fan. He enjoyed watching sports and visiting with his grandchildren. Bill received his Juris Doctorate from Nashville School of Law. He retired from the State of Tennessee after several years of service. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Katherine Ward as well as his brother Greg Ward. Bill is survived by his wife Gale Emerson Ward; son, Scott, daughters and their spouses Kristie & (Tom) Wixson and Paige & (Bob) Linkowski; two grandchildren, Conner Linkowski and Owen Wixson. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Friday, June 19, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
