Mr. Worley Mullins, Jr, age 92 of Brentwood, TN passed away on May 31, 2016. Born in Lyons, Virginia to the late Alice and Worley Mullins, Sr. He received his Bachelor and Juris Doctor Degree of Law from the University of Louisville, KY. He worked in Labor Relations, Personnel Management and Insurance for Ford Motor Company and T.V.A. A veteran of World War II, he was stationed in Hawaii and Canton Island as an Army Engineer. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. A former member of First Baptist Church in Florence, AL where he served as chairman of the Deacons and many leadership positions. He'll be remembered for being a man of faith and the love he showed to his family and friends. He passed away at his home Somerfield, in the Heritage of Brentwood. The family would like to thank the staff at Somerfield, Morning Pointe and Brookdale (formerly The Legacy) for all the love and care given to him. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Daryl Addington Mullins and his brothers, Dexter, Bruce, Brandt, Charles and Paul Mullins. Survived by: daughter, Debbie (Roy) Oaks, son, Michael Worley (Terry) Mullins; grandchildren, Jeff (Kerri) Oaks, Dolly (Trey) McNabb, Mic Mullins and Bobby Mullins; great grandchildren, Weston Oaks, Jenna Oaks and Palmer McNabb. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Joe Stacker and Jeff Helton officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens.
