SIMMONS, Mrs. Yattie Beard, age 93 of Franklin, TN passed away September 12, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Mefford Simmons; parents, John R. and Annie Mai Martin Beard; 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Survived by daughter, Wanda (Ken) Simmons Chastain; grandchildren, Jim Chastain and Carrie Chastain Speck; great grandchild, Caroline Speck. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Monday, September 15, 2014, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Billy Buchanan and the elders of Berry's Chapel Church of Christ.
